This assessment is often used to assist the lender’s understanding of the business and options for moving forward to manage the credit risk. Perhaps for a credit that has recently been experiencing losses or decline in revenues and may be being downgraded or put on a watch list.
We will review and assess the financial statements, projections, including 13-week cash forecasts in order to ascertain the borrower's ability to meet their goals.
We will meet with the Management team of the borrower and discuss the various areas of their business to determine if they are effectively running their business or operating in a crisis mode.
Key areas of discussions will include Sales and Marketing, Operations, Finance, Vendor relationships, Customer relationships, Competitors and current trends affecting their industry.
We can be engaged on behalf of the lender or at the recommendation by the lender to the borrower.
Provide contract portfolio management services to special asset groups for financial institutions, asset-based lenders, private equity firms and other financial organizations.
Assist in credit-crisis situations and develop trouble-credit restructuring alternatives. Assist in negotiations of amendment and forbearance agreements.
Develop and implement exit strategies for loans in a portfolio. Review multiple scenarios and assist lender in choosing the path which will maximize values to exit loan.
Provide collateral analysis to determine liquidation recovery and loss exposure by evaluating cash flow and business viability rather than immediate foreclosure. Our philosophy of evaluating alternatives and digging deep first ensures that collateral deterioration does not occur.
We can step in to assist the lender in a liquidation scenario as needed, including identifying appropriate appraisers, liquidators and other personnel.
Problem loan exit assistance provided to borrower by sourcing replacement lenders and or equity.
